What commissions do not change

Commissions do not change a firm's calculated score or its position in any ranking. Firms without an affiliate relationship are ranked with exactly the same formula, and many of the firms we rank pay us nothing.

Editor's Choice

The Editor's Choice placement is an editorial and commercial decision. It is shown above rankings with a label and a link to this page wherever it appears, and the firm's calculated score is shown next to it unchanged. The Editor's Choice also carries an editor's rating, which is an editorial judgement and is always labelled as such.

Discount codes

Discount codes shown as “our code” are codes issued to this site by the firm. Code pages are hidden from search engines until the code has been verified.
